Location:
The 5* hotel is located at the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai and lies on a 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach. Transfers to this idyllic place are arranged by a 50 minutes boat cruise from Bahuahin pier. You reach the pier from Krabi airport by a 50 minutes drive, from Trang airport by a 1hr 30minutes drive and from Phuket by a 3hrs drive. From May to October (due to the season) transfers are arranged by car and 2 short rides by the public ferry. Elephant trekking through the jungle, boat trips to marine parks and amazing dive spots will make every day of the holiday an outstanding one.
Room features:
All 121 accommodations are very elegantly furbished in modern Asian style and dotted around the large tropical garden.
The 64 Deluxe Rooms (48m²) are located at the hillside with 4 units per cottage. All are well appointed with bathroom with separate shower, WC, hairdryer, bathrobe & slippers, air-condition, minibar, coffee-/tea facilities, IDD telephone, internet outlet with free access, satellite TV, CD/DVD player, safe, day bed and a veranda. The 4 Bayfront Deluxe Rooms (70m²) are located closer to the beach and having same amenities. The bathroom features a second basin and a bathtub offering partial views of the bay and the garden. The 7 Pavilion Suites (110-160m²) with 1 or 2 bedrooms have an extra living room, a spacious terrace and an open-air shower.
The new and luxurious villas set even higher standards. Built on a hilly land the Pool Villas provide commanding views, tranquillity and privacy. These 39 Pool Villas (204-422m²), with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms, add to the normal amenities a living room with state-of-the-art TV, a kitchenette, a spacious terrace with a Thai sala and private infinity-edge pool. Located close to the beach are the 7 Beach Villas (170-650m²), with same amenities and 1,2 or 3 bedrooms.
Food & Beverage:
The Spice’n Rice Thai Restaurant, Rak Talay Beach Restaurant, The Seven Seas Restaurant or the Banyan Tree Poolside Cafe you will be regaled with Thai and international cuisine on a high level. Let the evening wind out with a drink at the Pool or the Lobby Bar.
Sport & Recreation:
The pristine beach with sunloungers, sun shades and towels, the infinity-edge pool near the beach, a 50m pool at the villas and one gym enable the guest to recreate. Whatever you like: Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Snorkeling excursions, forest walking, bicycling, Elephant trekking, Thai cooking class (all at extra charge) are available. From November to April the on site PADI Dive centre make divers dreams come true. The Pimalai Spa offers a variety of treatments (extra charge) to pamper body and soul. 2 libraries, internet rooms, business centres and meeting facilities complete the range.
Good-to-know:
The pool villas are situated in a hilly terrain. Due to the deep drop-off from the terraces and the private pools families with children should be especially vigilant.
